SUMMARY:Using AI in HPC: What Works, What Doesn't
DESCRIPTION:The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) empowers Ohio higher educat
ion institutions and private industry by providing capable, accessible, re
liable, and secure computational services, including 400+ GPUs and dozens
of AI-related applications. This session will provide some examples of cli
ent case studies, such as how dozens of art design students at Ohio Univer
sity are utilizing devices such as iPads and digitizers to run Stable Diff
usion at OSC as part of their course curriculum. This is facilitated by OS
C’s Open OnDemand platform, which allows students to easily input text p
rompts and view the generated images, without requiring any specialized co
mputational knowledge. Registration Instructions: To attend the live sess
ion, register for the Dell HPC & AI Community as a Guest, then log in to t
he Attendee Hub with your account details. Click 'Add' on the training to
enroll. You will be able to join the live session through the Attendee Hub
five minutes prior to the start time.
