DESCRIPTION:This workshop is intended to give C and Fortran programmers a h
 ands-on introduction to MPI programming. Both days are compact, to accommo
 date multiple time zones, but packed with useful information and lab exerc
 ises. Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of how to write scalab
 le codes using MPI – the standard programming tool of scalable parallel 
 computing.PSC is pleased to present monthly workshops on a variety of HPC 
 topics. Each workshop will be telecast to multiple satellite sites.This ev
 ent will be presented using the Wide Area Classroom(WAC) training platform
 . This will be an IN PERSON event hosted by various satellite sites, ther
