SUMMARY:TACC Open Hackathon
DESCRIPTION:Together with NVIDIA and the OpenACC organization, Texas Ad
 vanced Computing Center (TACC) will host a hybrid Open Hackathon starting
  October 21 and concluding October 30.The TACC Open Hackathon is a collabo
 rative, hands-on coding event designed to help computational scientists an
 d researchers port, accelerate and optimize their applications on a variet
 y of data center architectures. The event pairs participants with dedicate
 d mentors experienced in programming and targeted application areas to rea
 lize performance gains and speedups using a variety of programming models,
  libraries, and tools.Teams will leave the event with their applications a
 ccelerated or optimized on the latest supercomputing hardware or with clea
 r next steps for their development roadmap.This hackathon is open to every
 one looking to take their projects to the next level; however, priority ac
 ceptance will be given to TACC-affiliated scientists and their collaborato
 rs.
