SUMMARY:BRICCs Research Data Management (BRICCs-RDM) Conference
DESCRIPTION:July 9-11, 2025Alexandria, VADeadline to Submit Materials: June
  20thYou are invited to participate in the inaugural BRICCs-Research Data 
 Management (RDM) conference. At this conference, we will explore how RDM 
  can be used to advance cyberinfrastructure (CI)-enabled scientific use-ca
 ses in research and academic programs, the challenges faced, the opportuni
 ties available, and the strategies in play. Position papers, panels, birds
 -of-a-feather sessions, and digital posters are invited and are due no lat
 er than Friday, June 20th. Sample topics for discussion include:Developin
 g RDM policy, support, and training programsIntegrating RDM into academic 
 programs, student research, or student internship programsSupporting stori
 ng and using Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) rese
 arch dataAddressing challenges of data governance and data sovereigntyDeve
 loping and securing the Open Data Research infrastructureRDM ﻿﻿﻿Prac
 tices that address the needs of AI/ML, Practices that address integrating 
 cybersecurity practices in workflowsDeveloping practices for quantum compu
 ting and other emerging technologiesThis is not an exhaustive list, and ot
 her topics are also encouraged. Proposals, posters, and papers can be fro
 m individuals or groups.  We welcome the following session types:The posi
 tion papers should be 1,500-2,500 words and will be published in the proce
 edings. Papers will be presented as 10-minute lightning talks. The positio
 n paper should include the following:Introduction: Introduce the topic, th
 esis, or position for the paper. Body: This section contains the arguments
  or claims with supporting evidence. Please include relevant results or ca
 se studies. Conclusions: The final section of a position paper emphasizes 
 the claims and summarizes the paper. It can include recommendations and im
 plications. Acknowledgements: Acknowledge funding sources and relevant col
 laborators Panel sessions, of 30 minutes in lengthBirds-of-a-feather sessi
 ons, of 30 minutes in lengthDigital Posters, which will be displayed durin
 g the workshop Formatting Requirements for Proposals:Proposals for panel 
 sessions, birds-of-a-feather sessions, and position papers should be forma
 tted in a single column using Times New Roman 12-point font and one-inch m
 argins, and include citations in APA format.All proposals should be submit
