DESCRIPTION:AI research and development processes rely on complex, distribu
 ted workflows involving massive data, specialized instruments, and high-pe
 rformance computers. Globus provides a secure, scalable hybrid cloud-edge 
 platform that supports data, computation, and automation management across
  diverse cyberinfrastructure. In this talk, we will describe how Globus is
  being used to enable and accelerate AI workflows—from enabling real-tim
 e data collection and analysis at experimental facilities to supporting di
 stributed model training and inference.
