SUMMARY:Globus and ACCESS: Compute Across Distributed Resources with Globus
  and ACCESS Resources
DESCRIPTION:Growing data volumes, new computing paradigms, and increasing h
 ardware heterogeneity are driving the need to distribute computational tas
 ks across a continuum of computing resources. The Function-as-a-Service (F
 aaS) paradigm pioneered by cloud providers offers a potential solution and
  the Globus Compute service brings this capability to researchers with ACC
 ESS allocations.In this session we will provide an overview of Globus Comp
 ute and review common use cases for the service. We will also demonstrate 
 how it can be used for interactive computing, e.g., via Jupyter notebooks,
  as well as “fire-and-forget” high throughput computing workloads on A
