DESCRIPTION:HPC Monthly Workshop: MPI - January 7-8, 2026PSC is pleased to 
 present monthly workshops on a variety of HPC topics.   Each workshop wi
 ll be telecast to multiple satellite sites.This workshop is intended to gi
 ve C and Fortran programmers a hands-on introduction to MPI programming. B
 oth days are compact, to accommodate multiple time zones, but packed with 
 useful information and lab exercises. Attendees will leave with a working 
 knowledge of how to write scalable codes using MPI – the standard progra
 mming tool of scalable parallel computing.This event will be presented usi
 ng the Wide Area Classroom(WAC) training platform. This will be an IN PERS
 ON event hosted by various satellite sites, there WILL NOT be a direct to
