SUMMARY:A Quick Start to Accelerated Quantum Supercomputing with CUDA-Q
DESCRIPTION:This workshop offers a hands-on introduction to quantum computi
 ng for participants who are enthusiastic about the field but new to its fu
 ndamentals. We begin with an intuitive overview of what quantum computing 
 is, how it differs from classical computing, and where it can provide valu
 e, without assuming prior knowledge of quantum mechanics. Participants wil
 l then learn how to use NVIDIA CUDA-Q to write and run quantum programs, c
 ulminating in the implementation of a variational quantum algorithm that c
 ombines classical and quantum computation. By the end of the workshop, att
 endees will have a practical understanding of accelerated quantum supercom
 puting and the confidence to begin exploring quantum application developme
 nt on their own.Zoom coordinates will be provided to registrants before th
