DESCRIPTION:Michael R. Peterson (University of Hawaii at Hilo), in collabor
 ation with the Computing Research Association (CRA) and faculty at New Mex
 ico State University and the University of Alaska Anchorage, will engage f
 aculty at Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) in an in-person conference 
 to build a community of practice focused on increasing artificial intellig
 ence (AI) education capacity and utilizing shared resources in the Nationa
 l AI Research Resource (NAIRR) Pilot. To stay informed about the upcoming
  conference this August, please express your interest.The Minority Serving
  Institution designation, defined under the Higher Education Act (HEA), re
 fers to colleges and universities where at least 25 percent of enrolled fu
 ll-time undergraduate students identify as students of color, with at leas
 t 50 percent of degree-seeking students from low-income households. This w
 orkshop will target MSI institutions with computing programs. Historically
  Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) fall under the scope of another N
 AIRR Pilot conference.If this doesn't describe your institution, please co
