SUMMARY:CloudBank Cloud Clinic: Quantum Computing
DESCRIPTION:This CloudBank Cloud Clinic on October 20th at 11am PT presents
a preliminary look at quantum computing on pay-as-you-go cloud platforms,
particularly IBM, AWS and Azure. We describe a single qubit circuit mappe
d to the double slit experiment (including noise characterization) via bot
h simulators and actual quantum hardware. Reflections on use of AI as a le
arning resource are included as a cautionary tale.
