The connection to OldRanchData will discontinue at midnight on Oct 31 as previously announced.
We will unmount and delete the symbolic links "OldRanchData" created by us in project and user home directories. Custom links created by users will remain.
We will make effort to help users if they fail to complete the transfer by Oct 31. It will depend on the extent and severity and in general will take time. Users are encouraged to generate a list of OldRanchData files, including relative file paths, before the link disappears so that they can have a complete record.
Until that point, we will make sure no single user is locking up the old data access with excessive requests.
