The Open Storage Network (OSN) is an NSF-funded cloud storage resource that provides S3-compatible object storage for active research datasets. OSN is used for moving large datasets between instruments and for sharing long tail datasets. Storage allocations from 10 TB up to 50 TB may be requested through the ACCESS resource allocation process.
Storage
OSN is S3-compatible object storage - no directories, mount paths, or shell access. Storage is organized as buckets within an OSN project; each bucket has an endpoint URL, a name, and up to two key pairs.
1 ACCESS credit = 1 GB; Campus Champions may request 1 TB for testing.
Above 50 TB, contact help@osn.mghpcc.org.
