Project Description From the intake process, it was revealed that in some cases the current cyberinfrastructure was inadequate for academic and research usage relating to medical imaging work. Furthermore, limited compute capacity has presented some challenges in accomplishing earthquake research. Additional discussion revealed the need to improve network connectivity between the different universities. This issue caused restrictions in high-velocity data transfers required for collaboration between various teaching hospitals. Other CI needs include the need to enhance network bandwidth connectivity with the US Department of Energy to support solar research.
