The purpose of this meeting is to share experiences, learn from each other, get feedback and have a fruitful discussion about A64FX and Ookami. The meeting will take place from 2 - 4 pm EST via Zoom and will feature several 5 to 10 minute talks from users. It will cover the basics of the system, how to get an account, and for existing users also a lot of tips and tricks on how to use it efficiently for your research.

The Taming of the Wolf - How to use the Ookami Cray Apollo 80 system and Fujitsu A64FX processors 07/24/23 - 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM EDT

The team running the Ookami HPE/Cray Apollo 80 system at Stony Brook University and from the University at Buffalo is holding a 6 hour workshop at the PEARC’23 conference. The workshop will focus on the characteristics of the Ookami testbed and the specific architecture of the Fujitsu A64FX FX700 processor.

Julia is a high-level dynamic language, based on LLVM. Its features are well-suited for numerical analysis and computational science. Thanks to its compiler, Julia can achieve high-performance and take advantage of SVE instructions on the A64FX CPU.
