Project Information
-------------------
Project Description:
This project is designed to help prepare an interdisciplinary course in flow modelling, particularly smooth particle hydrodynamics. The project consists of creating a series of tutorial videos and sample programs for how to get started with the computational environment and the basics of flow modelling. This material will be used in an anticipated interdisciplinary course in the Fall of 2019.

Project Information Subsection

What will the student learn?:
As part of developing the tutorials and examples the student will be learning about the topics himself. They say the best way to learn is to teach others.

What will the mentee learn?:
{Empty}

What will the Cyberteam program learn from this project?:
The development of tutorials for helping researchers and students get started in an areas is valuable, but not necessarily well understood. The success of these materials can serve as a springboard for similar development in other areas. Potentially these materials can be used to bring other student facilitators up to speed.

HPC resources needed to complete this project?:
The project will use MPI and GPU computational resources as well as visualization tools.
