The AI EDU RCN Webinar Series is a monthly series designed to help faculty across the United States integrate AI resources into their undergraduate and graduate courses. Each session features presentations and hands-on demonstrations from NAIRR AI Education Fellows and resource partners, followed by Q&A. Sessions are recorded and made available on this page as a permanent resource for educators.
The series focuses on onboarding faculty to key computational resources available through the NAIRR Pilot and partner platforms — covering how to apply for access, how to structure classroom activities around these tools, and how other faculty have successfully incorporated them into their courses.
On Thursday, July 30 | 5:00 PM ET | 4:00 PM CT | 3:00 PM MT | 2:00 PM PT, the webinar will be focused on an introduction to CloudBank Classroom — a cloud-hosted JupyterHub that gives students persistent storage, pre-configured data science tools, and seamless university login — and how to integrate it into AI coursework.
Presenter: Eric Van Dusen (Computing, Data Science and Society, UC Berkeley)
NAIRR AI Education Fellows: Christian Servin (El Paso Community College), Narges Norouzi (UC Berkeley)
