Time-Series LSTMs Python Walkthrough
0
A walkthrough (with a Google Colab link) on how to implement your own LSTM to observe time-dependent behavior.
Reinforcement Learning For Beginners with Python
0
This course takes through the fundamentals required to get started with reinforcement learning with Python, OpenAI Gym and Stable Baselines. You'll be able to build deep learning powered agents to solve a varying number of RL problems including CartPole, Breakout and CarRacing as well as learning how to build your very own/custom environment!
Practical Machine Learning with Python
0
This video series provides a holistic understanding of machine learning, covering theory, application, and inner workings of supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning algorithms. It covers topics such as linear regression, K Nearest Neighbors, Support Vector Machines (SVM), flat clustering, hierarchical clustering, and neural networks. Goes over the high level intuitions of the algorithms and how they are logically meant to work. Apply the algorithms in code using real world data sets along with a module, such as with Scikit-Learn.
Handwritten Digits Tutorial in PyTorch
0
This tutorial is essentially the "hello world" of image recognition and feed-forward neural network (using PyTorch). Using the MNIST database (filled within images of handwritten digits), the tutorial will instruct how to build a feed-forward neural network that can recognize handwritten digits. A solid understanding of feed-forward and back-propagation is recommended.
Recommended Libraries for Cyberinfrastructure Users Developing Jupyter Notebooks
0
This repository contains information about Jupyter Widgets and how they can be used to develop interactive workflows, data dashboards, and web applications that can be run on HPC systems and science gateways. Easy to build web applications are not only useful for scientists. They can also be used by software engineers and system admins who want to quickly create tools tools for file management and more!
Data Imputation Methods for Climate Data and Mortality Data
0
This slices and videos introduced how to use K-Nearest-Neighbors method to impute climate data and how to use Bayesian Spatio-Temporal models in R-INLA to impute mortality data. The demos will be added soon.
PyTorch Introduction
0
This is a very barebones introduction to the PyTorch framework used to implement machine learning. This tutorial implements a feed-forward neural network and is taught completely asynchronously through Stanford University. A good start after learning the theory behind feed-forward neural networks.
Python Tools for Data Science
0
Python has become a very popular programming language and software ecosystem for work in Data Science, integrating support for data access, data processing, modeling, machine learning, and visualization. In this webinar, we will describe some of the key Python packages that have been developed to support that work, and highlight some of their capabilities. This webinar will also serve as an introduction and overview of topics addressed in two Cornell Virtual Workshop tutorials, available at https://cvw.cac.cornell.edu/pydatasci1 and https://cvw.cac.cornell.edu/pydatasci2

Fastai offers many tools to people working with machine learning and artifical intelligence including tutorials on PyTorch in addition to their own library built on PyTorch, news articles, and other resources to dive into this realm.
Feed Forward NNs and Gradient Descent
0
Feed-forward neural networks are a simple type of network that simply rely on data to be "fed-forward" through a series of layers that makes decisions on how to categorize datum. Gradient descent is a type of optimization tool that is often used to train machines. These two areas in ML are good starting points and are the easiest types of neural network/optimization to understand.

A visual introduction to Gaussian Belief Propagation
0
This website is an interactive introduction to Gaussian Belief Propagation (GBP). A probabilistic inference algorithm that operates by passing messages between the nodes of arbitrarily structured factor graphs. A special case of loopy belief propagation, GBP updates rely only on local information and will converge independently of the message schedule. The key argument is that, given recent trends in computing hardware, GBP has the right computational properties to act as a scalable distributed probabilistic inference framework for future machine learning systems.
